Vitamin A is an essential nutrient involved in normal vision, immune function, growth, and healthy cell development.
Why we included it: Growing bodies are constantly building new cells and tissues. Vitamin A plays an important role in that process while also supporting normal immune defenses and eye health.
Our form: Beta-carotene, a provitamin A carotenoid that the body can convert into vitamin A as needed.
Food sources: Sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, pumpkin, cantaloupe, and eggs.

The antioxidant multitasker
Vitamin C does a lot more than show up during cold season. It supports normal immune function, collagen production, antioxidant protection, and the absorption of non-heme iron.
Why we included it: Kids are constantly growing, moving, and recovering. Vitamin C supports connective tissue formation and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Food sources: Citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, bell peppers, broccoli, and tomatoes.

The sunshine vitamin
Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and supports normal bones, muscles, and immune function.
Why we included it: Childhood and adolescence are critical years for building bone mass. Vitamin D works alongside calcium to support normal bone development.
Food sources: Fatty fish, egg yolks, fortified dairy products, and some fortified foods.

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and supports normal immune function.
Why we included it: Growing bodies are made up of a whole lot of growing cells. Vitamin E helps support the body's antioxidant defense system.
Our form: d-alpha-tocopherol derived from sunflower.
Food sources: Sunflower seeds, almonds, avocado, spinach, and vegetable oils.

Vitamin K is needed for proteins involved in normal blood clotting and bone metabolism.
Why we included it: Vitamin K works as part of the bigger nutritional picture supporting growing bones.
Our form: Phylloquinone, also known as vitamin K1.
Food sources: Kale, spinach, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and other leafy green vegetables.

L-theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves. It has been studied primarily in adults for potential effects related to relaxation, stress, attention, and cognitive performance.
Why we included it: Our goal with Focus & Mood was to create thoughtful support for calm attention rather than stimulant-driven energy.
Natural source: Tea leaves, especially green and black tea.

Support for adapting to demanding days
Rhodiola rosea is a botanical traditionally classified as an adaptogen. It has been studied for its potential role in stress response and fatigue, although research findings vary and much of the clinical research is in adults.
Why we included it: Focus isn't only about paying attention. Stress and mental fatigue can also influence how we move through demanding days, which is why Rhodiola was selected as part of the Focus & Mood formula.

Glutathione is an antioxidant naturally produced by the body and found inside cells. It plays an important role in antioxidant defense and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Why we included it: Recovery isn't only about replacing what is lost through sweat. We wanted Cellular Support & Recovery to look beyond hydration by pairing electrolytes with antioxidant support.

Why we use it: We wanted ingredients that serve a purpose while fitting smoothly into a drink kids will actually enjoy.

Sweetness from fruit
Monk fruit is a small fruit native to southern China. Its sweetness comes from naturally occurring compounds called mogrosides.
Why we use it: We wanted great flavor without relying on added sugar.

A cleaner approach to sweetness
Rebaudioside M, or Reb M, is one of the sweet-tasting steviol glycosides associated with the stevia plant. Reb M can also be produced through fermentation.
Why we use it: Taste matters. A thoughtfully formulated product doesn't help much if it sits untouched in the pantry. Reb M helps us create a kid-friendly flavor experience without added sugar.
The name on the front of the bottle isn't the whole story.
“Contains iron” only tells you part of the story.
The form of a nutrient can influence characteristics like absorption, stability, and digestive tolerance. That's why we look beyond simply checking off a list of vitamins and minerals.
You may notice names like:
Ferrous bisglycinate instead of simply “iron.”
L-5-MTHF methylfolate instead of folic acid.
Methylcobalamin as our form of vitamin B12.
Bisglycinate and citrate mineral forms selected according to the needs of each formula.
We didn't want the longest ingredient list.
